The Delano SS Baro - Black
from $128.00
In 1965, Filipino farm workers in Delano, California stood together and launched a movement that helped change the course of American labor history.
The Delano Grape Strike was a fight for dignity. For fair wages. For safer working conditions. For the belief that every worker deserved to be treated with respect. The manongs who led that movement sacrificed comfort and security so future generations could have opportunities they never did.
The Delano Baro honors their legacy.
After the original Delano Long Sleeve sold out, we knew the story couldn't end there. Now, the Delano returns in a new Short Sleeve silhouette built for warmer days, everyday wear, and carrying the story forward.
Designed as a modern-day Barong, the Delano bridges Filipino history with contemporary design. Traditional cultural storytelling is woven into a silhouette built for daily life—equally at home in the city, at family gatherings, or wherever your journey takes you.
Constructed from a modern flannel plaid and finished with a clean mandarin collar, four-button placket, short sleeves, and a curved scoop hem, the Delano Short Sleeve reimagines Filipino heritage through a modern lens.
Across the front panel, custom embroidery pays tribute to the agricultural workers who helped build California's fields and vineyards. The artwork features iconic Philippine farming imagery including the carabao, rice terraces, nipa hut, rooster, sugarcane, banana trees, and the Filipino farmer, symbols of hard work, sacrifice, and the enduring connection between the land and the people who cultivate it.
Every detail was intentionally designed to honor the generations who came before us while creating a garment meant to be worn today.
Details Include:
Modern flannel plaid construction
Mandarin collar
Four-button placket
Short sleeves
Scoop hem silhouette

The Delano is a tribute to the Filipino farm workers who stood together in pursuit of equality, workers' rights, fair wages, and dignity. Their struggle helped shape history. Their story deserves to be remembered. And now, the Delano carries that story into a new season.

Heritage - Brown Stripe
from $108.00
We reimagined the classic Ben Davis Short Sleeve Striped 1/2 Zip Shirt with a print inspired by the storied Barong Tagalog. We brought back our custom Barong design across the front, carrying the heritage of a garment once worn as both daily attire and quiet resistance.
On the back, we printed three “hidden” bolo swords, a symbolic nod to the legend that the Spanish forced Filipinos to wear the Barong in sheer fabric to ensure no weapons could be concealed. What they couldn’t strip away, however, was identity, pride, and ingenuity.
The Heritage is a blend of tradition and a modern look merging workwear toughness with cultural storytelling. Every detail pays tribute to resilience, strength, and the ongoing reminder to KNOW HISTORY.
